It was really nice to finally have story issues revealed and to know what was going on, but I was a little disapointed at the limited game environment. And I'm really not sure where the game has left to go after this installment, but Erica was still a pretty impressive gumshoe. Her 'assistant' wasn't too bad either. It was really awesome to see how the story finally came together. Read More.

Sadly, Sims 3 University Life is lacking in a multitude of ways, showing itself to be a generally disappointing expansion. It not only fails to significantly improve the University experience, but it seems to backslide in a few ways, making the game not quite as fun to play. Read More.
Teetering on the edge of being just another generic shooter, Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel delivers in the shooting area but fails to truly distinguish the game from others on the market. Read More.
For years, Lara Croft has been one of the poster girls of the strong female video game protagonist. She’s amassed a loyal following of gamers and cosplayers, all who love her image and attitude. So when a new Tomb Raider game comes out that takes our heroine and completely reboots her, fans are of course going to be a little skittish until the game can prove its mettle. Read More.
I could have hoped for some more story reveals and for the final puzzle to be a lot less frustrating than it was, but I managed to get through. We've still got the same animation issues, but the rest of the game still manages to shine it's way through. Read More.
At the end of the game, I still felt intrigued and interested. I still wanted more of Erica Reed and her department's woes. And I felt as if I was able to follow the course of the game well enough to make it challenging without being too frustrating. They could have benefited from a slightly larger animation and voice casting budget, but in the end it was still an amazing game. Read More.
Omerta is a code of silence and honor that most Mafioso types try to live by. It involves noncooperation with authority figures and law enforcement, even when you yourself have been a victim of a crime. Likewise, Omerta: City of Gangsters, seems less like a game that's trying to engage the player and more a game that's taunting the player with its own internal code of silence and noncooperation. The main appeal and draw to a Sims expansion based on the weather is for the realistic weather effects it brings to the game. Playing your little digital people takes on a whole new dimension when they have to deal with the same crappy weather you do. t would stand to reason that this expansion would take the elements of the old, expand upon them and make them better. In some areas that is absolutely the case, yet in others, it fails miserably. Read More.
I think it's fair to say that my feelings towards the Halo series are somewhat ambivalent Some of the games in the series I've enjoyed very much and have had a fairly decent time playing through all of them. And the reason I think that I need to preface with those statements, is because I'm sure a lot of the fans are going to be initially disappointed in my outlook towards the game. Read More.
Klei Entertainment brings us Mark of the Ninja, the latest in their batch of 'so gruesome it'll make you giggle' games. You know, that evil giggle that makes people shy away from you when you unleash it in public. Wait...everyone doesn't have that giggle? Maybe I should rethink my cackle as well. Read More.
Dust: An Elysian Tail is a side scrolling 2D hack and slash released onto Xbox live Arcade. This game is the dream child of Dean Dodril, who single handedly animated and coded the game, reaching out to a support forum for voice actors for his brain child. Amazingly enough the product that the player is presented is an incredible piece of artwork and super fun gameplay. Read More.
The Secret World follows the same format of many other MMO's while trying to take a slightly different approach. Make a character, run through the world, level up and try to have fun. Where Secret World differs from most other MMO's is in the setting and the level of freedom they try to give the player with their characters. Read More.
When I first heard about Inversion and saw a trailer for it, I thought, "Ooo! A video game that might actually let me play out my fantasy of fighting in the corridor scene from Inception without actually waiting for a decent video game adaptation of the movie!" Then I laughed at myself for thinking that there was such a thing as a good video game adaptation of a movie. Read More.
