Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam Review (DS)

By Warren Dunlop () - 6.9 out of 10

Although truly pumped and then impressed with the next-generation Project 8, the Downhill Jam line-up is starting to dirty Tony's water, possibly even drying it up a little. The THPS series has always brought about hours of enjoyment, piles of innovation, and stacks of new tricks or other features. Read More.

Jewel Quest Review (X360)

By Warren Dunlop () - 6.9 out of 10

Redeveloped by iWin.com for Xbox Live Arcade, Jewel Quest is simply a Bejewelled clone that will set you back eight-hundred Microsoft Points. This title has twelve achievements, all pretty much acquired by beating the game four times over. The tag line will have you believe that this is a "unique new take on the classic-style matching game", and according to the official Xbox description, you'll rearrange valuable relic jewels to turn sand tiles into gold, "venturing" deeper into the jungle and "exploring" the ancient ruins of Mayan civilization while "discovering" hidden treasures and priceless artefacts. Full Auto 2: Battlelines Review (PS3)

By Warren Dunlop () - 7.2 out of 10

The most fulfilling sight to see in a video game is something plain old getting wrecked. Most gamers love to kick the bologna out of another vehicle, making it explode into a billion pieces. Just like Oscar Mayer Weiner, everyone's in love with eye-drying speed too. Read More.

Cloning Clyde Review (X360)

By Warren Dunlop () - 7.5 out of 10

What game offers the ability to be a Chicken, an ape, a barrel of TNT, a frog, a sheep, a rock, or a mutant? Only one: Cloning Clyde, a side-scrolling platformer by NinjaBee and exclusively on Xbox Live. The game features a group of identical clones all named Clyde, working together to try to escape the laboratory in which they were created, and now are being held captive. Read More.

Call of Duty 3 Review (X360)

By Warren Dunlop () - 8.3 out of 10

Passing on a series like Call of Duty to a fellow developer must be like losing a baby to some, especially when you've seen it grow to romp in a successful manner. Treyarch took Call of Duty with 'Big Red One', and has continued since to bring us this magnificent sequel. Read More.

UNO Review (X360)

By Warren Dunlop () - 7.6 out of 10

The creators of Hexic, Carbonated Games, have taken a wicked card game to the Xbox Live Arcade World, and I don't know about anyone else, but I am incredibly addicted. Released last May, UNO now has plenty of followers, multiple downloadable themed decks and it's a blast every time. Read More.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas Review (X360)

By Warren Dunlop () - 9.0 out of 10

Tom Clancy has been a topmost name in innovation and quality for tactical shooters, teaming up with Ubisoft to create a successful run with Ghost Recon, Splinter Cell, and of course, Rainbow Six. When such a successful series is presented with the idea of being thrown into Las Vegas, most cringed, feeling sorry for the reviews Clancy would receive, seeming more like a cash grab than anything else (CSI anyone? Street Fighter II' Hyper Fighting Review (X360)

By Warren Dunlop () - 6.0 out of 10

Street Fighter 2 has been hailed as one of the greatest games of all time, successfully aiding in the creation of the fighting genre back in '91. This legendary title has now made its way to Xbox live, but the game has parts lost in translation, and not by any language differences. Read More.

Tony Hawk's Project 8 Review (PS3)

By Warren Dunlop () - 8.2 out of 10

Neversoft pulled a boneless on THP8; it seems ollies just don't cut it anymore. On the first announcement I had heard regarding the production of a new addition to the Tony Hawk series, I had my request papers in to our Editor-in-Chief. There was no debating in the matter, as I made it clear that on the event of GamingExcellence receiving a copy, I was to be notified without delay. Read More.

Saint's Row Review (X360)

By Warren Dunlop () - 8.7 out of 10

A recipe ought to be swirling around in the gaming industry, as Saints Row seems all too familiar, bringing back the same shooting, driving, blowing up stuff, and 'de-limbing' innocent by-standers for the fun of it style of gameplay we've all come to embrace in our collections, happily pulling it out again if the mood strikes that certain dark side of our naughty gaming brains. Dungeon Siege II: Broken World Review (PC)

By Warren Dunlop () - 6.6 out of 10

Note to self: If current planet proceeds in a fury of demolishment, make an expansion. The Dungeon Siege saga rages back to the "broken" land of Arrana to pick up what little the second to the plot left off. DSII: Broken World has a new race, new classes, new items and other content, but getting to the new foe isn't much of an interesting quest in itself. Read More.
