Deadpool game announced

High Moon Studios, the developer that brought us Transformers: War for Cybertron and the upcoming Fall of Cybertron, is bringing us the Merc with a Mouth.

Ubisoft Publishing Spartacus Legends

Ubisoft is bringing the hit Starz show Spartacus to the video game realm with Spartacus Legends.  The game is being developed by Kung Fu Factory.

According to a press release, Spartacus Legends will have players take on the role of Spartacus, Crixus or their own created gladiator as they are pitted against each others in brutal combat. Read More.

Phantasy Star Online 2 Hitting The West In Early 2013

Sega has revealed that free-to-play multiplayer RPG Phantasy Star Online 2 will be launching for PC in North America and Europe during early 2013.

Capcom Reveals Marvel Vs. Capcom Origins

Sony Buys Gaikai

It was heavily rumoured before E3, but now it's official: Sony has purchased Gaikai, a cloud gaming service that allows players to stream their games online.

In a press release, Andrew House, group CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment, said that, "By combining Gaikai's resources including its technological strength and engineering talent with SCE's extensive game platform knowledge and experience, SCE will provide users with unparalleled cloud entertainment experiences.
