It was only a matter of time before someone would realize the floppy-head 'costumes,' and the gameplay made popular by Little Big Planet, would be a perfect formula for everyone's favourite Disney characters. Disney has created their own take on that gaming style, complete with little 'gremlin-type' creatures who 'suit up' in various Disney character costumes, which, from what I saw, will be a very fun game indeed. When you consider that THQ used motion-capture technology, complete with "ping-pong-ball suits" and the actual UFC fighters themselves throwing punches and kicks whilst wearing them, it's no wonder the movement looks so good. Many people remember Tron from its original movie back in 1982, so the upcoming movie release of Tron : Legacy has already gotten many fans into a tizzy. But what should fans think of Tron : Evolution? I'll admit I never watched the 1982 film nor did I initially care about the upcoming movie release, but after playing the game I have a strong urge to watch both flicks and see what all the rage is all about. Happily, after playing LBP2 at the recent Sony Preview event in Toronto Ontario, I can safely say it's just as fun as the original and yet adds enough oomph to be worthy of Sackboy's return.
