President Obama wants to study the effects of violent video games on people.

The Washington Times reports that President Obama asked the Center for Disease Control and Prevention to allocate $10 million dollars to begin a study that "investigates the relationship between video games, media images and violence."

However the White House has stated that when dealing with things such as video games and movies, it is left up to the parents to what children in America see.

“The entertainment and video game industries have a responsibility to give parents tools and choices about the movies and programs their children watch and the games their children play,” the White House said.
