Pokemon games director, Junichi Masuda, promised that a big announcement was coming for Pokemon and it was delivered with the reveal of new Pokemon titles.

Announced today during Pokemon Smash in Japan (via Siliconera), Masuda revealed Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2.  The Japanese Pokemon site released a photo with two new Pokemon that look similar to the two legendary Pokemon on the covers of Black and White.

Little else is known about the titles, but the games have been given a June release date in Japan for the Nintendo DS.
