After more than a year since we last heard the hypnotic cry of "Pata-Pata-Pata-Pon", the release date of the next chapter of the Patapons was recently announced.

Beginning April 12, you'll find yourself on a dark and desolate battlefield with no troops left and a new evil threatening the Patapon world. You the Mighty One will have to fuse with a fallen soldier, creating the Uberhero Patapon as the new hero for the land.

Some have already played the open multiplayer betta, available as of last summer, getting a small taste of their next journey. For the full adventure, Patapon 3, complete with new characters, levels, weapons, and online multiplayer fun, will be released at a cost of $19.99 USD on both UMD and the PSN.
