Nihlistic Software will be changing its entire company outlook as well as the company name itself.

The studio announced today on their website that they will no longer be making games for retail box releases and will instead focus on downloadable, online and mobile games.  The company also stated that they will be changing their name to nStigate.

"The future for nStigate is yet to be written, but the history of Nihilistic is coming to a close.  We thank all the people who have worked here over the last 14 years." said the statement on their website. "It's been a privilege and a joy to serve our players for the past years.  We love what we do, and we love it when you guys like it.  Thank you for playing."

The company has stated on Twitter that current projects will not be effected and the transition will "gradual between now and December."
