GamePro, one of the most recognizable gaming magazines in the industry, is closing its doors after over 20 years of service according to a post on IndustryGamers.

In July, the magazine decided to shift its monthly publication rotation to a quarterly publication. Its first print edition was released in May 1989 with its online component first being established in May 1996.

According to the post, GamePro will focus on creating custom content for vendors and events.

"Thank you for your loyalty, support, and participation in the GamePro.com community." a post reads on the website.

The GamePro site will shutdown on December 5 and will become a part of PCWorld.com.
