For those of you who haven't yet heard of The Binding of Isaac, it is a very twisted game in which an abused, naked boy moves through a twisted, hellish basement to try to escape from an insane mother who wants him dead.

Lovely premise for a story, right?

Well this happy family tale has happy news for the game designer, Edmund McMillen. Adding in sales from the expansion, Wrath of the Lambs, sales have exceeded 700,000 copies.

You sick, twisted people out there. How could you play a game where a little boy eats dog food and kills enemies with his salty, salty tears of pain? HOW COULD YOU?

Ahem. In response to the fan response, a free update has been released for the PC download which includes some fixes for glitches, new music and content such as a different ending.  Check it out if you're interested, it's available now on Steam.
