Not only is the PlayStation Network continuing into its sixth day of being offline, there's news that the company isn't confident the personal information of their 75 million subscribers is safe.

Those who've used their credit cards on the PSN should start checking their credit card accounts if they haven't already.

Sony spokesman Satoshi Fukuoka was quoted in PC World as saying the company has "not yet determined" whether the "external intrusion" that brought down the network has also opened up PSN user's personal or credit card information.

As it stands neither the official PlayStation Blog nor Sony Computer Entertainment reps have responded or given any update whatsoever regarding the security of PSN users' information.
