Studying English at the University of Western Ontario, Alex Coulter hopes one day to be a published novelist. If that plan should fail, however, then he hopes to write stories for an even more renowned and prestigious medium - video games. Gaming since he could hold a controller, Alex's interest for video games piqued during the Super Nintendo-Playstation/N64 transition, and has never faultered yet. Not a fanboy of any particular company, Alex has owned every system made by the big three. So far this generation, however, the Xbox 360 has stood out the most in his opinion, with titles such as Bioshock, Gears of War, and Mass Effect leading the charge.

Among his favorite video games are Star War: Knights of the Old Republic, Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Super Mario World, Jade Empire, Mass Effect, and Metal Gear Solid 4. His self-proclaimed greatest moment in gaming was trading in enough games to buy his Playstation 3 for $15. His hero is Drew Karpyshyn, a novelist and scriptwriter for the Canadian game publisher, Bioware. His favorite football team is the Philadelphia Eagles. And, most importantly, his favorite energy drink is Bawls.
