A full playable demo of FIFA Soccer 08 for the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 is now available at FIFA08.ea.com. In addition, the PS3 downloadable demo will also be available at the PlayStation Store and the Xbox 360 downloadable demo will be available on Xbox Live Marketplace. Play as Manchester United, FC Barcelona, AC Milan, Bayern Munchen, Olympique de Marseille, Club America (Mexico) or the New York Red Bulls and discover a soccer experience that matches the complexity, finesse and beauty of the real-world game before it ships to a store near you.

The FIFA Soccer 08 demo will enable players to experience the new, organic building-block pro skill moves that enable you to combine tricks and skill moves together to recreate signature moves from the real-world superstars or define your own style of play. In addition, FIFA Soccer 08 features a true next-generation ball-striking engine that re-creates the drama and unpredictable nature of shooting. Plus a true next-gen AI delivers true, authentic soccer action.

While the demo will have seven teams available, FIFA Soccer 08 includes more than 570 licensed teams, 30 leagues, and more than 15,000 players. The full feature set of FIFA Soccer 08 includes the new Be A Pro: Offline Training mode, new manual controls, Interactive Leagues, Online Leagues, Tournament Mode, and Upload Replay. In addition, six to eight weeks after FIFA Soccer 08 ships to stores EA SPORTS will make Be A Pro: Online Team Play available as a free downloadable update. Be A Pro: Online Team Play will enable 10 people anywhere in the world to connect online to play a single match of FIFA Soccer 08.

FIFA Soccer 08 ships to retailers under the EA SPORTS brand on Tuesday, October 9 on all platforms and on October 16th for PS3.
