Hawk lovers will get their fix coming this fall, with Activisions newly announced Tony Hawk's Proving Ground. This one brings back all of the create-a-modes many missed in Project 8, thus emphasizing the customization of everything around you. You'll even have choices along the way, changing the story as you go. You'll be able to hone in on a certain skill set (such as street or vert) in cities such as Philly, Baltimore, and Washington, D.C.

Proving Ground will feature the long awaited video editor mode. The editor, complete with visual effects and custom angles, you'll finally be able to create your own movies. Players can also head to an online Skate Lounge to hang out with friends. This lounge is customizable too. Tony Hawk's Proving Ground will also feature even more Nail the Trick modes such as Nail the Grab and Nail the Manual, giving your skating a custom edge on the fly.

Tony Hawk's Proving Ground is currently in development for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 2 & 3, Wii, and Nintendo DS, so be sure to look for it come fall.
