Microsoft Game Studios passed along a quick announcement that Forza Motorsport 2 has gone gold. Additionally, a brand new playable demo of the game's campaign mode is now available on Xbox Live. The game is set to ship across the nation on May 29th.

Until then, eager racing fans can download the playable demo starting today, giving them the opportunity to test drive 24 of the game's 300 plus cars and take an advanced look at the single player experience.

With the game running at 60 frames per second, supporting true force feedback and incorporating rumble functionality with the Xbox 360 Wireless Controller, Forza Motorsport 2 will showcase more than 300 car models from the world's leading manufacturers on 12 of the most renowned tracks on the globe.
