Midway Games today announced that it has shipped Blitz: The League for the Xbox 360. Bill Romanowski, a 4–time Super Bowl champion and arguably one of the most feared linebackers to play the game, joins Hall of Famer Lawrence Taylor as co–cover athlete of Blitz: The League for the Xbox 360 which delivers a host of new features, including new cities, All–Star teams, and achievement points.

"With over a million games sold on current generation systems, Blitz: The League proved to the industry that fans desire an alternative in the licensor censored, watered–down sports genre," said Steve Allison, chief marketing officer, Midway. "We're excited to now offer that alternative title on the Xbox 360, complete with the award–winning quality of gameplay and entertainment Blitz: The League is recognized as having."
