Much like a perennial sport series, the Tony Hawk games seem consistent in their yearly releases. But unlike the Maddens and the MLBs, Neversoft seems to always refine the gameplay or add a new nuance that makes every older title archaic. Try as anyone might, it is exceptionally hard to go back to a Tony Hawk game that doesn't have the revert or flatland tricks in them. Read More.

It seems like I'm saying this a lot lately, but is just that I have a hard time seeing how many more "improvements" can be made to a game based entirely on the theme of skateboarding. Now don't get me wrong, I fell in love with the Tony Hawk series long ago and say it through many early titles which definitely brought major changes to the gameplay to bring it to where it is today.
