Vivendi Universal Games announced today that its critically acclaimed Super Hero game from Sierra Entertainment, The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction is now shipping to retail stores worldwide. Developed by Radical Entertainment, the massive free-roaming action game is available for the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system, the Xbox video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and Nintendo GameCube.

Based on The Incredible Hulk character franchise from Marvel Enterprises, The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction allows players to jump anywhere, climb anything and smash everything -- even destroy entire buildings -- as the Hulk, the strongest Super Hero there is! Players possess the unique Hulk-powered ability to “weaponize” items from almost anything from the environment, such as ripping a car in half to use as steel fists or smashing a bus into a giant shield. Throughout the game, 150 chargeable Hulk moves and combos can be unlocked to battle a variety of huge enemies, including his long-time nemesis the Abomination, in epic boss fights. Gamers also experience deep and varied game elements as they explore over 30 story missions and 40 side challenges in fully interactive and destructible environments.

The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction is brought to life through a compelling storyline written by Eisner Award-winning comic book writer Paul Jenkins, high-quality art by signature comic artist Bryan Hitch, an original score created by acclaimed composer Bill Brown and performed by the Los Angeles Orchestra, as well as movie-quality sound effects created just for this game. Leading voice-over actors Ron Perlman, Neal McDonough and Richard Moll, round out this A-list collaboration that provides an unprecedented integration with the authentic Hulk universe.
