Simple Plan Speeds Onto Xbox Live
Rock stars set to take on gamers in latest Xbox Live Game with Fame session.

Critically acclaimed rock group Simple Plan, whose latest album recently went platinum is set to don the Xbox Live headset and pick up a controller to play against their fans as part of the latest Xbox Live Game with Fame session.

Fans that are interested in getting to know the band up close and personal will need look for their Xbox Live gamertag 'simplegwf' on December 8 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 PM ET and challenge the group in Need For Speed Most Wanted. The Xbox Live "Game with Fame" program gives Xbox Live subscribers the unique opportunity to meet, chat and play against some of today's hottest stars. Past "Game with Fame" celebrity players include Ludacris, The Strokes, Ryan Cabrera, Hoobastank, Staind and Incubus.

"We're always playing Xbox on our bus, said Pierre Bouvier, the band’s lead vocalist. “It's gonna be great to have a room set up for our Game With Fame to chill out in and race against our fans on Xbox Live. Our fans better be ready cause I play Need For Speed all the time.”

The Simple Plan Game With Fame will be featured on G4’s “Attack of the Show” on December 16. Fans will have the opportunity to play on the air and win a chance to meet the band. In addition, fans can also win cool prizes from the band when they sign up to race, including copies of Need For Speed Most Wanted and Simple Plan’s MTV Hard Rock Live CD. To enter to win Simple Plan’s Game with Fame giveaways, fans can send an email with “Simple Plan Game with Fame” in the subject line to [EMAIL=xlmail@microsoft.com]xlmail@microsoft.com[/EMAIL] and include their name, address, gamertag and phone number.
