Prepare to flex your creative genius as Majesco Entertainment Company announced Blast Works: Build, Trade, Destroy has gone gold for Wii. The fully customizable side-scrolling shooter will ship to retail outlets nationwide on June 10th.

In addition, Majesco has announced that BlastWorksDepot.com--the web site that allows user-created game content to be shared via the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection--is now live. Accessible through any web browser, this innovative social networking site supports the Blast Works game and lets players upload their creations online for others to view and download to their Wii to play. Players can browse, rate, and comment on posted content; the site even allows registered and unregistered users to search through back catalogs of creations by category, date, artist and other criteria. Users can also make new friends with other Blast Works players by sending and approving friend requests.

Featuring bright, abstract graphics and fast-paced side-scrolling action, Blast Works is a "sticky" creative shooter that lets players absorb fallen enemies as protection. The in-depth and intuitive Blast Works Editor allows gamers to customize every element of their game play experience from levels, ships, enemy ships, objects and bosses to unique bullet patterns, movements, sound effects, hit box placement and more.

Developed by Budcat Creations, Blast Works: Build, Trade, Destroy will ship on June 10. For more information, visit www.BlastWorksGame.com.
