Homefront Review (X360)

By Alex Coulter () - 8.4 out of 10

There were a lot of great games shown at E3 last year, but not a single one excited us more than Kaos Studios' cinematic-shooter, Homefront. And that's why it took home our Game of Show award. Now that it's here, the question that has to be asked is, does Homefront live up to our lofty expectations, or is it just another generic first-person shooter? Read More.

Rift Review (PC)

By Alex Coulter () - 8.2 out of 10

Every time a new fantasy MMORPG is released, its success is often based on whether or not it's a "WoW killer." Going off this model, no fantasy MMO released in the past six-and-a-half years has been a success, as WoW is still going strong. Age of Conan, Warhammer Online, Lord of the Rings Online. Read More.

Dungeons Review (PC)

By Naomi Brown () - 6.0 out of 10

When I heard the premise for the game Dungeons, I was really excited. Playing a Dungeon Master who designs dungeons specifically with the goal of luring in heroes before gleefully and maliciously murdering them for your own gain is an awesome concept. It's great to be running the show! Read More.

Kingdom Hearts Re:coded Review (DS)

By Nicholas Bale () - 7.0 out of 10

Kingdom Hearts: coded is a game that was released only in Japan, for mobile platforms. It featured episodic gameplay and a story hearkening back to the events of the first Kingdom Hearts game, though with a twist. Eventually, all the episodes of the game were packaged together and released in the west as Kingdom Hearts Re:coded. Read More.

Radiant Historia Review (DS)

By Ania Kwak () - 8.5 out of 10

With all the latest RPGs trying their hardest to out-best the competition, including using cinematics, flamboyant displays of magic, and attacks during in-game combat, it can make one wistful of the RPGs from the Super Nintendo days. Atlus' Radiant Historia is a nice throwback to that time, giving it a refreshing new spin while reminding us why RPGs have become the powerhouse they are today. Read More.

In a game about bringing color to and eliminating conformity from the world, you'd think there'd be a be a little more variety. Shaun White Skateboarding Review (Wii)

By Nicholas Bale () - 5.0 out of 10

Another entry in the Shaun White boarding franchise, Shaun White Skateboarding is one of the few skateboarding titles on the Wii. While it echews a pleasant art style and a cool premise, however, problems arise through gameplay and overall design. Read More.

Puzzle Quest 2 Review (DS)

By Nicholas Bale () - 7.2 out of 10

Puzzle Quest was an addicting game that could eat up hours and hours of your time without you even realizing it. It's pseudo-sequel, Galactrix, wasn't. Developer Infinite Interactive has decided to go back to what made the game successful in the first place, and while this has definitely worked, there have been left a startling number of gameplay elements that make the sequel (simply titled Puzzle Quest 2) frustrating to play. Power Gig: Rise of the SixString Review (X360)

By Nicholas Bale () - 4.0 out of 10

Earlier this week, I had to tune my video game controller. I didn't know how to do it, so I needed to go online and find out how to tune a guitar. I'm not sure how I feel about that. I might feel better if there was a reason to do so, but I was disappointed when I started playing through this new guitar game at the time I had wasted. Read More.

Kinectimals Review (X360)

By Daniel Acaba () - 7.0 out of 10

Kinectimals isn't just a cute game. Oh no, the developers weren't going to stop at just making it cute. No this game is so damn cute that it almost goes entirely back on itself to become almost horrific. Sure having a Black Panther cub purring and rolling around in the dirt might seem adorable at first until you realize that the flying idiot bee thing implies that these animals have been kittens for the past 200 years.
