Burnout Crash! Review (X360)

By Christopher Seal () - 7.8 out of 10

When Criterion Studios announced they were releasing a new game in the Burnout series, fans were understandably excited. The Burnout series has always been well received and the absence of a new entry for the past few years has left fans wanting more. It's no surprise then that when it was announced that Burnout Crash was going to be a top down game focused around blowing cars up, more than a few eyebrows were raised. Read More.

Bodycount Review (PS3)

By Chris Moore () - 6.8 out of 10

Bodycount is a game where the focus is completely on gameplay and little anywhere else. You are given a gun and are told to shoot first and ask questions never. The only real thing driving you forward is the urge to kill and to not die in the process. Read More.

Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 2: Innocent Sin Review (PSP)

By Daniel Acaba () - 8.5 out of 10

Persona 2: Innocent Sin is a hard beast to review. Technically speaking, what we're looking at here are two very distinct experiences. This is basically a slightly updated port of a twelve year old game, kind of like when the first Shin Megami Tensei was released on PSP just recently. Read More.

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked Review (3DS)

By Nicholas Bale () - 8.5 out of 10

Two years ago, Devil Survivor came out on the Nintendo DS. It was a unique twist on the Shin Megami Tensei franchise and strategy genre as a whole, merging sRPG and regular turn-based RPG concepts together into a fairly cohesive package. Devil Survivor Overclocked is a repackaging of these elements, with a few new added elements, but nothing that should spurn owners of the original into running out and purchasing it. Read More.

Driver: San Francisco Review (PS3)

By Rick Poulin () - 8.2 out of 10

I have very fond memories of playing the original Driver on the PS One years ago. As far as I know, it was one of the first racing games to have an actual story line, and that made it stand way above all others at the time. Never mind the fact that the fuzzy graphics made my eyes bleed, I couldn't put it down. Read More.

Gears of War 3 Review (X360)

By Liana Kerzner () - 9.5 out of 10

The release of Gears of War 3 could be coined "Submergence Day", since so many gamers are going to disappear into their gaming holes and not come out until they finish it. I admit, that's what I did. Read More.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine Review (X360)

By Daniel Acaba () - 9.7 out of 10

When I first saw Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine at E3 2009 I became a bundle of excitement. I wanted that game in my Xbox right the heck now and the idea of waiting at least a year was sheer blasphemy. Luckily Dawn of War 2 managed to fill in the time, thank you Retribution. Read More.

Crimson Alliance Review (X360)

By Isabel Jarvo () - 7.2 out of 10

I love downloadable games. Yeah, I said it. Gaming purists seethe at the idea of not running their calloused fingers over the smooth edges of a new disc, smelling the (likely toxic) aroma when the box is first opened or thumbing the pages of the manual like they would a prized jewel. Read More.

Star Fox 64 3D Review (3DS)

By Andrew Sztein () - 8.1 out of 10

I don't know if it's a good thing that Star Fox 64 is coming to the 3DS. Almost by default, it's already the second or third best game available for the fledgling system. Along with Ocarina of Time, when two of the best games in your library are re-releases of nearly 15 year old N64 games, its time to take a good hard look at your game library and really wonder why people should invest in your system. Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection Review (PS3)

By Avi Krebs () - 6.3 out of 10

During a time when fighting games tried to copy Street Fighter 2, one challenger to the fighting game crown chose to go in another direction. Instead of having hard and light attacks, there were high and low attacks; instead of using well-drawn animated characters, there were real-life actors digitized for the small screen. Read More.

NHL 12 Review (PS3)

By Rick Poulin () - 9.2 out of 10

If there's one thing that makes the end of the summer palatable, it's the taste of another imminent year of hockey. However, this year EA Sports has a bit more to celebrate with its 20th year as a brand, and the release of the 21st iteration of its NHL franchise, NHL 12, is just around the corner. Read More.

Madden NFL 12 Review (X360)

By Andrew Sztein () - 8.0 out of 10

A confession before I get into this review. I'm not a huge football fan. I'm well versed in the rules, and I'm a playoff supporter of the Baltimore Ravens, but I could name more people that live in my neighbourhood than I could total NFL players. One thing I do know, however, is video games. Read More.

Rock of Ages Review (X360)

By Daniel Acaba () - 8.5 out of 10

Rock of Ages is an incredibly weird game to describe to people. It's one of those games that you try to talk to your friends about but only find them giving you funny looks that seem to say "This guy has been hitting the bottle again." For a game as simple to pick up and play as this one it's so bizarre that most attempts to describe it end up falling short. Read More.
