Battlefield 3 Review (X360)

By Andrew Sztein () - 8.6 out of 10

One of the most epic battles in the industry this holiday season is clearly the First Person Shooter battle between EA's venerable Battlefield series and Activision's mega popular Call of Duty franchise. Given EA's audacity to tag the game's ads with "above and beyond the call," EA's opened itself to a level of comparison to Call of Duty, some favourable, some not so much. Read More.

X-Men Destiny Review (PS3)

By Chris Moore () - 6.9 out of 10

When you are dealing with the mutant world of the X-Men, political issues will always come to the forefront of storytelling for them. The characters of Charles Xavier and Magneto have always been characterized as Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X respectfully. Read More.

Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad Review (PC)

By Nicholas Bale () - 7.5 out of 10

War enthusiasts, here you go. Gamers tired of bunny hopping and dolphin diving (this is a thing), here you also go. Red Orchestra 2, a game that shows a more slower-pace of infantry warfare, is a game that you just might want to take a look at. Read More.

Just Dance Kids 2 Review (X360)

By Ania Kwak () - 7.8 out of 10

After the poor transition of the regular Just Dance series to the Kinect, I was more than apprehensive when I learned their kid-oriented one was next to expand over several platforms. Yet Just Dance Kids 2 for the Kinect surprised me with its ease of navigation and overall decent play experience. Read More.

Batman: Arkham City Review (PS3)

By Andrew Sztein () - 9.7 out of 10

After growing up spending huge portions of my life reading the comics, watching the movies and TV shows, playing mediocre Batman games and even donning a black cowl and cape for Halloween, I think it's safe to say that if I could be any mythological character, it would have to be Batman. F1 2011 Review (X360)

By Andrew Sztein () - 7.9 out of 10

As someone who occasionally checks out Formula One highlights on Sportscentre, I'm usually looking for footage of a crazy wreck, because as the great George Carlin once said; "Where else am I going to see a 20 care pileup and not be involved in it?" What George didn't know however, is that now you can get involved in your own 20 car Formula One pile ups in the comfort of your own home. Read More.

Fifa Soccer 12 Review (X360)

By Christopher Seal () - 9.1 out of 10

Last year when I received FIFA 11, I knew exactly what I was getting myself into. For the past half decade the FIFA series has been a pillar of success for EA. Each new game brings about a solid experience, incrementally improving upon its predecessor. FIFA 12 is no different and stays true to the course. Read More.

Rocksmith Review (PS3)

By Ania Kwak () - 9.8 out of 10

Having already previewed Ubisoft's Rocksmith, I had an idea of what to expect. Yet when I began playing at home, I still couldn't believe just how well put-together this game is. Read More.

Just Dance 3 Review (X360)

By Ania Kwak () - 5.4 out of 10

Ubisoft has upped the ante with their Just Dance series by bringing their newest title, Just Dance 3, to the Kinect. While at first I thought it was a great idea, an overall poor execution has left me wishing I'd gotten a copy for any other platform instead. Read More.

Tropico 4 Review (PC)

By Naomi Brown () - 9.0 out of 10

It seems hard to believe that the Tropico franchise is still going strong. After all, how many uninhabited islands are there in the Caribbean just waiting for a maniacal dictator to take them over? Brief pause for Google search....ok, there are thousands. Which means thousands of little El Presidente's can start moving in and harassing their subjects, forcing them to toil for the benefit of their Swiss bank account. Read More.

Rise of Nightmares Review (X360)

By Nicholas Bale () - 6.5 out of 10

It all begins when you and your wife take a train ride through the European countryside. It continues when the train derails, your wife is kidnapped by a mysterious man, and you find people getting slaughtered left and right as the survivors make their way through the countryside towards a dark castle, in the night. Rage Review (X360)

By Andrew Sztein () - 9.6 out of 10

The creators of Doom and Quake, id software, are back with their first developed game in more than half a decade. After creating a PC benchmarking tool with Doom 3 in 2004, id returns to the stage with their first ever open world title, RAGE. Does their new combination of first person shooting, role playing elements, exploration, and racing make a fitting continuation of id's legacy as a premier developer, or will simply cause gamers to enter their own white-hot rage? Child of Eden Review (PS3)

By Ania Kwak () - 8.2 out of 10

When Child of Eden was given to me to review, the first thing many people asked me, after having seen what it's all about, was, "How the heck are you going to describe this game? It's true, this style of game is unlike anything that has come out before, which is precisely why it makes the game all the more entertaining. Read More.

Hard Reset Review (PC)

By Nicholas Bale () - 8.0 out of 10

Hard Reset is not a game that was built with all latest modern gameplay advances in mind. There's no cover, there's no regenerating health, there isn't even any reloading. What will greet you is frenetic combat, hordes of robotic enemies, backpedaling, and lots and lots of gunfire. Read More.

Achron Review (PC)

By Nicholas Bale () - 4.5 out of 10

So, this game kind of broke my brain.

See, I'm no virgin to strategy games. I know about setting up defenses, harrassing the opponent with attacks, sending waves of units and counteracting other moves while trying to get a suprise attack in. What I needed to learn is how to counteract an attack on a battle that I had already won, while trying to defend a factory while using a group of units from that factory that had not yet been produced.
