In Spider-Man games of the past, developers created an open world for Spider-Man to explore. Once the main story was over, players could just freely roam high above the streets above New York City fighting crime and saving civilians from certain death. Beenox decided to go a different route. At Activision's E3 room they had several private, behind closed doors rooms showing off games like Call of Duty: Black Ops and True Crimes: Hong Kong. But out in the open, for anyone that stopped by was two TVs showing off Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions.
