Software publisher and developer, Enlight, today announced that X3: Reunion has gone gold for the PC.

The sequel to the award-winning PC title X2: The Threat, X3: Reunion is an in-depth space simulation that thrusts players into an epic battle for control of the universe. The latest graphic technology, a brand-new economic system, and more than 200 newly designed models and 1,000 interactive objects combine for the most thrilling and immersive X experience yet. X3: Reunion is scheduled to ship to stores on October 21, 2005.

“In X3: Reunion, the X universe has been expanded to include more of what players love – new challenges, items, enemies, and more graphically-stunning worlds to explore,” said Paul Lombardi at Enlight. “The sophisticated economic system allows for in-depth, multifaceted strategy, as players will now be able to dominate enemies with both firepower and commerce.”
