Total Overdose: A Gunslinger's Tale in Mexico has officially Gone Gold this week and to celebrate, Eidos has an official game demo now available for download.

As sons of an undercover DEA cop who mysteriously dies of an "overdose" in Mexico, Ram and Tommy Cruz are taking it upon themselves to uncover and unravel the grand cover-up surrounding their father's murder. Playing as these witty trash-talking brothers in this hilarious adventure of revenge through Mexico, you'll infiltrate the drug trafficking underworld of Mexico battling thugs by the hundreds, making enemies with top drug lords, catching the eyes of Latin ladies, and reeking havoc like the youthful renegade that you are! Your arsenal of weapons ranges from shovels and hand guns to assault rifles and rocket launchers.

To add personal style to your pillaging, unlock your unique Loco Moves such as the infamous "Mariachi Move" with guitar cases ablazing, as well as the "Sombrero Move" summoning a spirit of the Day of the Dead to help you wipe out your surrounding enemies. In fact, you haven't lived until you have unleashed the "Lucido Wrestler Move"! And, in addition to your combat capabilities, you are surrounded by fast cars to steal, trucks to crash, and burrito carts to- well, you'll see! Your adventure unravels through Mexico's city streets, across tumbleweed plains, into the deep jungles, past ancient ruins, and beyond.

Eidos is arming you with a chip on your shoulder, a sharp tongue, and enough attitude to overthrow any drug trade working, mustached, low-life south of the border. Total Overdose: A Gunslinger's Tale in Mexico will be available in North America starting September 28th, 2005 on PS2, Xbox, and PC.

The demo can be found at the Eidos Product Page for Total Overdose.
