Fishtank's Etherlords Goes Gold
3D turn-based strategy game demands wits and mastery of magic, due on shelves November 13, 2001.

Fishtank Interactive, a division of Ravensburger Interactive, announced today that "Etherlords," the long-awaited 3D turn-based strategy game, has gone gold. "Etherlords" takes players on a visually stunning fantasy adventure. Relying on wits and armed with distinctive magic spells, players lead one of four enchanted races in a battle for dominance. The PC game is due to arrive in stores November 13, 2001.

"'Etherlords' strategy requires players to balance resource management and spell based combat," said Jerry Wolosenko, head of Fishtank Interactive in North America. "Dazzling special effects and the game's 3D engine add to unique gameplay, guaranteeing thrills and intellectual challenge for even the most hardcore gamer."

A visually stunning game supported by a compelling story and distinctive design, "Etherlords" features a unique combat system that innovatively melds the best of trading-card game play and strategic resource management. Four magical races battle for supremacy in a fantasy world full of extravagant detail and realism. Players can choose from over 300 spells, each with its own amazing effects.
