Tri Synergy announced today that it will release BANDITS: Phoenix Rising on PC-CD ROM in Q1 2003. Developed by Grin Inc., BANDITS is a post apocalyptic action game for the PC that immerses gamers in a desert wasteland of fierce clans and battle cars. Territorial gangs of BANDITS furiously race cannon-mounted, Mad Max style combat vehicles through swarms of vicious enemies, fighting to survive.

“BANDITS: Phoenix Rising is poised to be one of the most exciting and intriguing combat-racing titles to ship in 2003,” said Shane Nestler, executive vice president of Tri Synergy. “We are pleased to publish this title under the Tri Synergy name.”

In charge of all the cannon-blasting craziness are notorious leaders of the Wolfpack gang, Fennec and Rewdalf. Fennec and Rewdalf will guide players through more than 22 action-packed missions ranging from car duels and train robberies to the storming of outposts. Players must battle hordes of heavily armed enemies with custom-built cars that are equipped with cannons, missiles, guns, grenade launchers and mine droppers. Smash, crash and battle it out in the extensive single player campaigns or in diesel-dripping, lead-spitting Internet deathmatches with rival gangs in the ultimate survival of the fittest and the fastest….Gear up, Gun down & Wreak havoc with Bandits: Phoenix Rising.
