Only the right combination of strategy, stealth and fighting will guarantee survival in JoWooD Productions’ upcoming tactical PC adventure game, K. Hawk - Survival Instinct. At a suggested retail price of $29.99, K. Hawk just started shipping in North America.

In K.Hawk, the player finds themselves in control of Lieutenant Kitty Hawk, a Navy SEAL and pilot whose helicopter has crash-landed on a remote island somewhere in the Pacific Ocean. Kitty soon realizes that escape from the island may be difficult. With the powerful enemy defenses ruling out any kind of rescue operation, Kitty must find a way to overcome the enemy through any means possible. However, in this stealth game, one move in the wrong direction and Kitty’s history. Going out all guns blazing is not an option.

The journey to escape and survive will not be easy. The island is full of Special Forces soldiers that may be better trained than Kitty. The only option for Kitty is to count on her wit while using a range of different pistols and rifles sparingly. Any whiff from the island’s Special Forces that they have an intruder, and it’s game over for Kitty. Along with her arsenal, Kitty can make use of gadgets she finds along the way. She might use gas grenades to destroy the enemy without drawing attention to herself, and proximity bombs to prevent the enemy from getting too close. Just to make the mission even more challenging, the game’s AI gives the enemy soldiers a certain range of vision and hearing, meaning they can hear Kitty passing by if she is not careful about her movements. Also, like in real life, if a solitary soldier spots an intruder he will call for help.

Over the course of her epic island escape, Kitty must use a wide variety of tactics to combat her environment, from sneaking around corridors to avoid security cameras to dodging sniper rifle sites in the dense jungle to sprinting for cover away from savage enemy machine gun fire in wide open fields.
