Stand-alone expansion pack for Cossacks: European Wars now available in retail stores.

CDV Software Entertainment, one of the leading German publishers and distributors of gaming software, today announced that the historical real-time strategy game "Cossacks: Back to War" is now available in stores. "Cossacks: Back to War" includes all of the strategic power and pageantry of the original real-time strategy bestseller "Cossacks: European Wars" as well as the first expansion pack "Cossacks: The Art of War," and adds two new playable nations - Switzerland and Hungary.

"The pageantry and the human drama surrounding European wars during the 16th to 18th centuries come vividly to life with 'Cossacks: Back to War,'" said Robert Pickens, chief executive officer of CDV USA. "This is an ideal addition to any collection - war gamers, real-time strategists, and mainstream gamers alike."

All of the gameplay features of "Cossacks: European Wars" and "Cossacks: The Art of War" are wrapped up in a complete stand-alone care package for real-time strategy gamers.
