CDV Software Entertainment, one of the leading German publishers and distributors of gaming software, today shipped "Neocron," the cyberpunk massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG). The game is set in the post-apocalyptic city of Neocron, where each player can mingle with the city's less tasteful denizens, take in the lurid underground culture, and carve his own place amongst the bright lights.

"CDV's first massively multiplayer online game, 'Neocron' combines the rich story of a role-playing game with the aggressive action of a first-person shooter," said Robert Pickens, chief executive officer of CDV USA. "Your actions in Neocron are limitless - wreak havoc in the outlying Wastelands, craft fine weaponry within the safety of the city, or play intrigue within the many factions vying for power. The choice is yours."

Neocron is now available nationwide with a monthly subscription rate of $9.95. Players will receive the first four weeks of play free of charge, with a bonus of two additional free weeks for all players registering on or before February 12, 2003.
