CDV Software Entertainment, one of the leading German publishers and distributors of gaming software, today announced that "Project Nomads" for the PC is now available in stores. Winner of Best PC Game Award at ECTS 2001, "Project Nomads" is a unique science fiction title that balances the best of real-time strategy and action-adventure games. Featuring a breathtaking world with spectacular graphics, this latest offering from CDV Software promises stunning aerial battles and mysterious quests high in the sky.

"From the orange blush of the twilight sky to the soft wisps of nimbus clouds, 'Project Nomads' plunges the players into a beautiful floating world," said Robert Pickens, chief executive officer of CDV USA. "With ornate architectures, an inventive storyline, and innovative gameplay, 'Nomads' is a solid winner this holiday season."

A once-proud civilization is destroyed, a terrible disaster leaving their home planet shattered. The remnants, an archipelago of flying islands, are all that is left for the survivors. To negotiate through this floating world, players must turn islands into powerful fortresses with the help of arcane artifacts.
