Racing enthusiasts should start honing their driving skills as Microsoft Game Studios today announced that RalliSport Challenge for the PC has gone gold. The game will arrive just in time for the holiday shopping season, with a ship date of November 7 and a price point of $39.99 (U.S.).

Developed by Digital Illusions CE, RalliSport Challenge provides a white knuckle racing experience that includes four types of Rally competition, Hill Climb, Traditional Rally, Rallycross and Ice Racing. With 29 fully licensed cars to choose from and 48 tracks to race on, RalliSport Challenge provides gamers with the thrill of racing fast cars on all types of terrain. RalliSport Challenge features advanced graphics, including swaying trees, animated crowds and ultrarealistic particle effects, as cars run through mud, dirt, snow and water. Delivering all of the same action-packed off-road racing experience as the critically acclaimed Xbox version, the PC version goes into overdrive with new features including Internet and network multiplayer, improved graphics due to higher PC resolution and realistic driving action available with a force-feedback wheel.
