“We hoped that Z-Opolis would inspire players to co-operate rather than compete, help rather than exploit, and we as a team have been blown away by just how great our players have been,” said Kevin Hannah, Chief Marketing Officer at PersistentWorldZ. “As our player community continues to grow, however, we felt that to ensure a continued kid-safe environment we needed to remove anonymity of play, and so have turned on credit/debit card registration.”
With a minimal charge of one dollar for a full month of play (that also gains a player five dollars in virtual cash to spend on in-game items), full commercial release is planned for October 31st, when PersistentWorldZ will unveil their flexible community member management and billing.
