Fishtank Interactive is pleased to announce that Nival Interactive, the developer for "Etherlords," is accepting beta tester applications for the upcoming 3D turn-based strategy title. "Etherlords" will enter beta testing phase in early July, and is scheduled to ship fourth quarter 2001.

"For the first time, we are accepting beta testers internationally," said Alex Dmitrevsky Vice President Business Development of Nival Interactive. "Although only a limited number of testers will be chosen to receive the beta, we hope that the active participation of the international gaming community will allow us to craft a better game."

A visually stunning game supported by a compelling story and distinctive magic spells, "Etherlords" features a unique combat system that melds the best of trading-card game play and strategic resource management. In this innovative turn-based strategy title, four magical races battle for supremacy in a fantasy world full of extravagant detail and realism. Players can choose from over 300 spells, each with its own amazing effects.
