Set in the year 2666 AquaNox: Revelation is the tale of a young undersea freighter pilot named William Drake, who takes off in search of his ancestor’s mythical treasure. Unfortunately for the player, Drake is not the only treasure-hunter beneath the waves. 10 other characters are in the hunt as well. Some are greedy and ruthless while others may offer Drake unexpected help on his perilous voyage.
AquaNox: Revelation is a high-energy first-person shooter where players take the helm of a wide variety of submarine battleships, and use these vessels’ deadly weaponry to send their enemies to the bottom. The game features a totally re-vamped engine that includes a brand-new enemy AI system as well as support for complex models and character animations. Most impressive are AquaNox: Revelation’s lighting effects that bring Aqua’s sinister but beautiful underwater cities to life in striking detail.
