It is a sad day, as PC gaming has lost one of its own. It is my unfortunate duty to inform our readers that Doug "Fresh" Myres, VP of New Media at Gathering of Developers, has passed away.

Doug Myres, 36, was known throughout the PC gaming world as one of the coolest guys around. It was hard to find a guy as nice and friendly as Doug. He was one of the original founders of GodGames, and was responsible for a lot of the web content from GodGames you see today. All of us at GamingExcellence.com wish the deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Doug, and offer our deepest condolences as this world has lost a great man.
