Fishtank Interactive, a division of Ravensburger Interactive Media and publisher of PC and console-based interactive games, announced today that the newest patch for 3D strategy title "Etherlords" is available at www.etherlords.com. Always striving to expand the playability of "Etherlords," Fishtank and Nival now offer eight-player strategy games in the latest patch. A unique title that combines collectible card gameplay and resource management, "Etherlords" was recently lauded by PC Gamer as a "visual stunner with strong AI, fast-moving gameplay, and a lot of depth."

The latest patch features the beta version of the highly anticipated strategic multiplayer mode that can be played via LAN or Internet. Supporting up to eight players, the strategic multiplayer capability fundamentally expands the playability and scope of the game offering 10 maps upon which gamers can wage war or ally for cooperative games and campaigns. The patch also incorporates the player requested duel "hot-seat" gameplay. With this new mode, two "Etherlords" players can battle each other in a duel game using one computer. Patch 1.05 also includes additional technical and game balancing improvements and enhancements.
