"Working with King Schools on this exciting sweepstakes emphasized how the dream of flight can come true for customers of both companies," said Microsoft product manager Darryl Saunders. "Scott actually purchased a King Schools private pilot course ten years ago and received his private license. Now, with this new airplane and his copy of MSFT Flight Simulator, Scott will undoubtedly get to experience flight that's 'as real as it gets.'"
In a ceremony today at Visalia Municipal Airport in Visalia, California, Silva took possession of the plane and was presented with a free flying lesson from John and Martha King, owners of King Schools, the world's leading producer of aviation training videos and computer software.
