Eidos Interactive today launched a new web site for Commandos Strike Force, the forthcoming action game based on the multi-million unit selling franchise. Developed by Pyro Studios, Commandos Strike Force will be available in March 2006 in Europe and April 2006 in North America for PC, PlayStation 2, and Xbox.

Highlighting the new direction for the Commandos series, the new site (www.commandosstrikeforce.com) boasts character biographies, an armoury where you can look at the highly accurate weaponry in the game and the most up to date information on the game. Downloadable content such as screenshots, wallpapers and trailers are also available, along with an insight to the real life Commandos. Fans of the game will also be able to download fansite kits to design their own sites and gain in-depth information with the forthcoming developer diaries.

For the first time, Commandos Strike Force takes you right into the heart of the action from a first person perspective, uniquely combining action and stealth gameplay. Set in war torn Europe amid the backdrop of World War II, take your elite ‘Strike Force’ unit behind enemy lines on a series of linked missions through France, Russia and Norway. Undertake action, infiltration and stealth missions with the Green Beret, Sniper and Spy, using any means necessary to challenge a winning enemy and pave the way for invasion. Enter into battle alone, or take the frontline online with your friends.
