Mass Effect 3: Omega Announced

BioWare has revealed the next piece of single player DLC for Mass Effect 3.

Called Mass Effect 3: Omega, the name and description of the content seems to stem back from Aria comments about wanting to get back to her club Omega and it seems she will finally seek out Commander Shepard for his help to reclaim it from Cerberus control. Read More.

Mass Effect Trilogy Announced

BioWare today unveiled the Mass Effect Trilogy bundle, effectively bringing the first Mass Effect to the PlayStation 3.

The bundle will be a 5-disc set and come in a Premium Foil Box as well as exclusive artwork. Read More.

Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut Announced

Today EA and BioWare announced Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut, a free DLC that will hopefully quell fans' anger with the sci-fi trilogy's ending.

I have seen a few marketing campaigns for Twitter, but never have I been so eager to follow it so closely like this.

The day before the launch of Mass Effect 3, a Twitter account called @AllianceNewsNetwork was started up.  Alliance News Network is the fictional news organization in the Mass Effect universe. Read More.

Mass Effect 3 demo date announced

BioWare has announced the release date of the Mass Effect 3 demo. The demo will be available on February 14 for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

BioWare stated on their forum that the demo for the game will come with two single player sections. The first section will deal with the opening level of the game where the Reapers attack the Earth. Read More.

Mass Effect 3 to have multiplayer

UDATE 2: Casey Hudson has gone into a little more detail about the co-op missions for Mass Effect 3. The multiplayer missions will have a direct impact on the single player campaign, but you aren't required to play it to complete the game.  Players will be a part of a special forces squad and try and free territories from enemy control.
