There's moderately good news for PlayStation Vita owners lamenting the recent dearth of releases for the new-ish platform: Sony announced yesterday that 95 PSP games are being made available for download through the PlayStation Store.

The list includes 35 PSP games, along with 60 minis. 13 games, including Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas and Age of Zombies, are available for download effective immediately. The other 82 titles -- which includes games like Gods Eater Burst, Split/Second and Dead Head Fred -- are "coming soon". Notable among the games still not available for download are Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (which is also being left out of the upcoming Metal Gear Solid HD Collection), Phantasy Star Portable 2 and, of course, every single PSOne game.

What's that? You want to hear about new games? Well, aren't you demanding. Nonetheless, if Sony's upcoming E3 presentation isn't enough to give you something to look forward to, Andriasang reports that the company is currently teasing a June "Vita Heaven" event. Hopefully this time around, Vita Heaven will consist of more than a bunch of videos being made public.
