PlayStation Plus is coming to Vita, along with a boost for the service's cloud storage

PlayStation's subscription-based service will hit the handheld later this year.

PlayStation Plus - the company's subscription service offering various deals, discounts, exclusive access and free games - will be making the jump over to Vita at some point this year. Announced at Gamescom, PS Plus will also see a boost in subscriber's cloud storage. In this case, the limit will be moving from 150MB to 1GB.

This news closely follows the company's announcement that PSone classics will be available on the handheld from the 28th of August onwards. This comes courtesy of System Software Update 1.80.
