UPDATED: Rocksteady has released the first official trailer for Batman: Arkham Knight. In it we get the reading of the last will and testament of Thomas Wayne telling his son, Bruce, not to abandon the city and the Batmoblie in action. You can view it here. The trailer also states the story to Arkham Knight:

Also announced, pre-orders for the game will let people play as Harley Quinn in Challenge Mode and will net players four exclusive challenge maps.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Rocksteady Games, the original architects of the Arkham series, is returning for one last ride with the Dark Knight.

Revealed on Game InformerRocksteady states that this will be the the final Arkham story for the Batman.

Taking place a year after the events of Arkham City, the villains of Gotham have now teamed up to finally put a stop to Batman. Based on the reveal trailer, Harley Quinn, Two-Face and the Penquin will all play a role in the game. Rocksteady also states that the Batmobile will be a core gameplay mechanic for this title.

Arkham Knight is expected to arrive later this year for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
