Blizzard has decided that for the first time since they started holding the annual conference, BlizzCon will be a no-go for the year. It's been postponed, they say, until 2013.
Now, allowing for the brief moment of panic I'm sure that statement inspired, let me clarify by saying that Blizzard claims it's just go too much going on right now, what with Diablo 3, Word of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria and StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm all coming out.
Apparently, instead of BlizzCon, fans can look forward to the Battle.net World Championship with StarCraft II and World of Warcraft Arena World Championship tournaments.
So hold your horses for now, and BlizzCon will see you again next year. Unless, of course, the other rumors flying around that the conference is just loosing too many attendees and costing too much money is true...(see rumor HERE!)
