Global videogame publisher, 505 Games U.S. and Discovery Communications announced that Discovery Kids: Spider Quest for the Nintendo DS has shipped to retail stores nationwide. The latest adventure in the Discovery Kids line of video games puts venomous, eight-legged creatures from around the globe into gamers' pockets, opening them up to a world of exploration and exciting adventures.

In Spider Quest, players are encouraged to collect dangerous species from their natural habitats around the world. To capture species or help them escape from danger, players can complete missions and play a wide variety of fun mini games in a lush 3D jungle! Players can choose from six different environments to preserve, protect and feed the species they capture on their jungle adventures. The creepy critters can even be given special treats.

Spider Quest
follows the release of Discover Kids pet titles Dolphin Discovery, Puppy Playtime, Kitten Corner, Pony Paradise and Parrot Pals, which launched earlier this year. Each title allows players to own, care for and train their pets, while also unlocking new items and taking part in fun mini-games.
